The Double Arrow Lodge offers a wide variety of cozy lodging. There are lodges divided into individual units, with private baths and entrances. Premier stand alone log cabins work well for a romantic getaway. Larger, full sized lodges are also available to accommodate group lodging for fun getaways.  The three rooms in the Main Lodge have the feel of a bed  & breakfast.  This Montana Mountain Lodge built in 1929 is a prime example of historic Montana lodging.  Highlighting the Great Room is a massive stone fireplace, focal point for congenial camaraderie or private, tranquil moments in its radiant warmth.  So put yourself in one of the finest lodges in the west.  Whether you stay in one of the guest rooms of our Main Lodge or any of our log cabins, you’ll enjoy a unique blend of European elegance and Western hospitality. The rooms in the Lodge are off the Great Hall, on the ground floor and upstairs overlooking the resort grounds and the meadow. These rooms have housed European dignitaries and the children of the various owners over the years. Wi-fi available.

The newest additions to the Lodge - these five cabins are named after our local lakes.

The Aspen was built in the thirties by the first owners. It was designed to be as comfortable and accommodating as possible in its time. Since then it has been renovated and modernized to give it the kind of comfort we expect today, without losing its rustic, historic character.

The Western Cabin was built in the early days of the Double Arrow from logs cut nearby and skidded to the site using horses. This cabin overlooks the meadow and offers the relaxing music of nearby Drew Creek.

MISSION VIEW CABIN

The Mission View Cabin is the premier cabin for a couple, perfect for an anniversary, wedding night, or romantic getaway. The cabin was restored using original 1930 era logs, from Western Cabin #6. It overlooks the Pond with a view of the foothills of the Mission Mountains. The cabin is spacious with a King bed, gas log fireplace, sitting area with a view, soaking tub, walk in shower and a mini kitchenette.

TAMARACK CABINS

These cozy cabins were once a part of an old stage station located across Morrel Creek, in the present day golf course. In 1930 they were put on skids and skidded up to the Lodge grounds using draft horses. They have been renovated inside and out. Each of these private romantic cabins has a deck overlooking Drew Creek bubbling by at the foot of the hill. A gas log fireplace provides the warmth and atmosphere and the Jacuzzi bathtub completes the potential for relaxation and enjoyment.

The Heritage Cabin was built during the thirties by the original Double Arrow owners, Jan Boissevain and George Wiesel. Ponderosa Cabin (Fireplace & Loft)

The Ponderosa cabin is the only building at the resort built entirely of spruce logs. The light colored logs give a light and open feel to the rooms, accentuated by the high ceilings. Each room is unique in its design and decor. Extended stays were intended for these rooms with the comfortable living room style, lower floor and open sleeping lofts. Each is equipped with gas log fireplace, showers and tubs, and sleeping accommodations in the living area as well as the lofts. Wi-fi Available.

The Clearwater is a complete, two bedroom log home built in the thirties. The cabin has a rustic sense of times past with antique woodstove, furniture, and knotty pine interior, yet is as comfortable and modern as any log home of the current times. Two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and comfortable living room make for cozy and romantic lodging for up to four.

Cougar Cottage

The Cougar Cottage is one of four on the resort that is a complete house unto itself. It has three bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a cozy fireplace in the living room. Picture windows and full deck look out at the Mission Mountains, golf course, and some of the best sunsets in the country. Satellite TV and Wi-fi available.

Hilltop Lodge

The Hilltop was built during the first flurry of building during the winter of 1929-30. It was the first owner's residence. In 1997 the house was stripped to the original walls and completely rebuilt without losing that old Montana charm built into it 70 years ago. Wi-fi available.

The Deer Lodge is our newest Log Cabin Home with 5 Master Suite Bedrooms. There is 6th powder bathroom on the Main Floor near the Kitchen Living Room. On the Lower Level there is an extra bunk room that has 2 twins and shares a bath with the 5th Bedroom. Wi-fi available.
